Using first hand stories from the great ocean races and by examining incidents in the 1979 Fastnet Race and 1993 Sydney-Hobart Race, Mark will explore the role of confidence at sea and also in our lives. Material from this talk is taken from Mark’s recent book – “Knowledge 2.0, staying afloat in the Information Age”
